Industrial Central Apartment - Shop 8

Lovely place to stay but be aware of booking requirements and you need to pay a bond to stay. Positive: Extremely clean. Well equipped for self catering. Location provided easy access to sights of Fremantle and was walking distance to shops. Comfortable bed. Decor was lovely and lived up to its industrial name. Negative: The requirement to provide license and credit card details before i stayed with no collection statement to explain what is done with that information after we had stayed along with a $300 bond paid before arrival was not made clear on this booking site. The apartment is located at the bottom of a high rise flats, adjoins the flats laundry, is opposite the rubbish bin area, and next to the main exit door which results in ad hoc noise ranging from dryer noise, bins being wheeled and emptied, suitcases wheeled past and loud conversations at all times of the night. If you like to sleep in a dark room then this is not the place to stay. Plantation shutters look great but do little to block out the light from the external security lights. Shampoo/conditioner etc are provided but if you are vertically challenged you probably wont be able to reach them as the shelf is really high up. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so everything ends up wet. Parking is tight if you are driving a 4WD.

Positive: It's location. Good use of an old building. Beautiful renovation. Great linen. Comfortable bed. Walking distance to Rottnest express ferry & restaurants.Able to lock car in a secure yard. Secure yard in compound. Negative: Next to a noisy laundry. People upstairs were noisy not all night. Sliding door in passage was squeaky

Positive: It was a very cosy and well designed space. Relatively comfortable. Negative: First impression was that of commission housing, but the actual apartment is street facing and relatively well protected. Not an area I'd feel comfortable in thought if I was travelling as a single female.

Negative: Het ziet er prachtig uit op de foto’s, maar blijkt weinig praktisch ingericht. Zeer oncomfortabele krukken en een veel te grote eettafel die standaard in de weg staat. Airco in de keuken en dus geen effect voor de slaapkamer (daar waar je ‘m het meeste nodig hebt). Appartement zit het dichtstbij de liften en het afvalstation, dus veel omgevingsgeluiden.
