Beach Shack Fremantle

Positive: The location was walking distance to so many attractions and restaurants in Fremantle. Also, there were lots of places to hang up coats and towels. Negative: I was very confused about how to access the property and the parking space. I phoned the contact number through the app twice for assistance, and both times they took my number and promised a call back. The information turned out to be in the app messages, not under Bookings which I thought made more sense. The key code in the messages was also different from the key code sent to me by email. I could hear the neighbours from inside the apartment.

Secure location in the heart of Freo Positive: Location Negative: They are converted shop/ office spaces.

Positive: Had everything we needed for our stay, nice comphy bed and pillows, nice bathroom.Close to shops and restaurants Negative: Could not open front door as instructed. Rang number provided and was advised someone would call back, received a text message to enter via back door which we tried and were unable to access due to workmen on-site.. very frustrated at this stage I sent several messages and photos, until now know reply, A tenant and worker saw us and helped us by taken lift to 1st floor and then down 2 flights of stairs to access the back door, if it wasn't for him we would have looked for alternative accommodation. This is a noisy location, thank god for ear plugs! We noticed that a previous review had said the front door was jambed and obvious still wasn't fixed

Lovely apartment, comfy stay. Positive: I liked the decor, kitchen fit out was great, good central location, bed was comfy, was pretty quiet at night. Nice linen and towels. Heater was warm. Negative: The front apartment door got stuck and had to use rear door. bit of ruckus on the street sometimes. Queen size bed would have been nicer than double. Heater was noisy but worked well.

Positive: The property had been maintained by someone who cared. Lots of thoughtful touches
